Reno ASAP
So here we go.
We get the call that we all know that Grandmas in the hosptal and in an instant we are getting all packed up and ready to hit the cold weather ahead of us.
Flight out is just me and Shyla. Yup you heard it just me and Shyla. Wich let me break it down for you guys NO KIDS. They are staying with our husbands because being a a hospital isnt the greatest place for children to be. I thank god that they are so understanding why we needed to come up.
Yesterday morning I made our flight arrangements but knowing that i was going to go to Reno i asked Tresilla if i could go. And of course her answer to my question is no. That i cant go. But lets just say i bribed her. Yeah yeah i know not good to do that but i couldnt have her be completely upset at the fact that i needed to go. So i ask her what she wanted and her response is "um.... a balloon, candy and bubble gum" ok works for me. Since having that conversation up to this very minute she continues to ask me if i had bought her, her suprises. Wich really arent surprises because she know that she is going to get it. Called her from the maui airport "mom did you get my suprise?". Call her from the airplane on Maui "mom did you get it yet?" Call her from San Fransisco "mom i'm frustrated... did you get it yet?" So i can do one of two things... i can tell her i got her surprises but she might just expect to pick me up ASAP..... or i can continue to tell her i havent had the chance to get it yet. What to do what to do? 3 year olds are so tricky. I swear she is so SMART for her age.
So anyways we saw something that just made me realize how LAZY some people can be.
Now oh before i move on picture this. I dont want to pay to have my luggage checked so i am lugging around this big filled duffle bag that ways oh a good ton! Lugging it around in the plane in the airport every where. Ok anywyas we land into San Fran and walking to the domestic flight area because we landed into the international side.aaahhhh. so as we walk into the food court area there is a guy with a cart that apeared to be empty. Look at it good and he is pulling this cart that has A SINGLE CAKE on it. Yeah a sinlge cake. This cart looks like a cart that you pull boxes of food with. But a cake. I dont know if he realized how lolo he looked.
Now we get to the gate and hear that our flight is not leaving at midnight not arriving at midnight but leaving at midnight. So that means that we have a 3 hour layover! can you say crazy. Oh not to mention that we didnt eat and we are starving and ALL the vendors are closed, and so is the nearest bathroom.
Needless to say we made it into Reno safe and sound.
Grandpa was happy to see us.
Right now im in the waiting area of the hospital. And i can get wireless connection for free wich is great!
Grandma has been responding to me and Shyla very well since last night.
I know she has a long ways to go but you need to walk before you run. And a little improvement is better than none.
I love her and need your prayers for her.
oh ps did i mention how it FRICKEN COLD??
no i didnt....
cant imagine forgetting that. LOL
